Jay Iyengar, M.D. has been practicing interventional pain management for the past 24 years and has extensive experience with various interventional pain management procedures. He has completed his pain management fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is also board certified in anesthesiology, completing his residency in anesthesiology at the University of South Carolina.
Dr. Iyengar received training in surgery and has experience as a clinical transplant fellow at the University of Connecticut Medical Center. He served as the director of the pain clinic at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington, prior to starting an office-based interventional pain practice, which was one of the first of its kind in the state of Washington and the country
